What we are trying to do

Te Hononga ki ngā Tūpuna Trust was established in 2008 to:

  • promote te reo Māori as an official language of Aotearoa by encouraging speaking, reading, writing and listening in te reo
  • promote te reo Māori as an expression of cultural identity and pride in Aotearoa
  • foster te reo Māori and Māori knowledge as a way of bridging cultural differences
  • encourage all cultures to participate in learning te reo Māori

Current courses

The following courses will be offered in Term 1 of 2012:

Te Hiringa - (course 1, days)
Te Hiringa - (course 1, days, second stream)

Te Hiringa - (course 1, nights)

**Courses are 9 weeks in length**
